Brookings AGI at Annual Meetings: EBRD Invests Heavily in Africa
The President of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, Odile Renaud-Basso, highlighted international cooperation, private sector development, good economic governance, environmental sustainability, and the need to mobilize private investors to strengthen infrastructure and human capital. During the annual meeting of the World Bank and the IMF, the adaptation of financial institutions to current challenges was discussed, promoting labour inclusion, institutional transparency and green investments, as well as collaboration between development banks to simplify processes.
