Thirty years of Barcelona: A balance between achievement and disappointment.
The Barcelona Process, initiated 30 years ago, has not achieved peace nor prosperity in the Euro-Mediterranean region, due to the lack of cooperation and political will. Neither the EU nor the involved countries have been able to integrate neighbours nor offer effective solutions.
