Energy in the New Mediterranean Pact: Renewal, Perspectives and Options
The new Mediterranean Pact aims to renew Euro-Mediterranean cooperation, including renewable energy and decarbonization, by promoting investments, networks and integration into fossil-free European chains. The Pact drives collaboration in clean technologies, energy security and socio-economic development. A T-MED Investment Platform is proposed for renewable and hydrogen projects, as well as a regulatory mechanism to support energy reforms in the Mediterranean south.
