Strengthening local leadership and peer learning in Nepal can improve education, as the lack of collaboration among municipalities, political rivalry and limited government support hinder the exchange of knowledge and educational innovations. The absence of a culture of sharing perpetuates isolation. Solutions are proposed such as strengthening networks, involving external partners and changing the culture of not sharing knowledge. This could drive collaboration and the exchange of successful experiences.
