Will the Medicare Advantage boom strengthen or weaken favorable selection?
A report from the Brookings Center for Health Policy suggests that increased penetration of Medicare Advantage (MA) may not have a significant effect on favorable selection towards MA. The study indicates that a larger increase in MA penetration would likely have little impact on favorable selection.
